Glastonbury won Best Festival at the Shockwaves NME Awards this evening.
Emily Eavis picked up the paward from guest presente Paul Smith of Maximo Park’s at London’s O2 Brixton Academy.
“Thank you to everyone who voted for us,” Emily said as she accepted the trophy, “it means so much that it’s been voted for by the fans. Thanks for sticking with us through rain and shine.”
