The date of the much anticipated Glastonbury ticket resale will be announced soon, according to the Glastonbury Festival Twitter account.

After announcing earlier today that the deadline for paying ticket balances had been extended 48 hours from midnight last night until 23:59 on Tuesday 2nd March, they were asked by someone on Twitter when the resale date would be, they replied “Yes, we’ll be announcing the resale date soon”.

It is also possible that more tickets will be available after the soon to be announced resale date due to ticket buyers having until 7th May to cancel. When this happened last year, tickets went on sale unannounced as and when they became available.

To be able to purchase a Glastonbury Festival 2010 ticket, you will need to preregister on the ticket registration site.

The only place a Glastonbury Festival ticket can legitimately be purchased from is SeeTickets. Anywhere else claiming to offer Glastonbury tickets for sale is unauthorised and you risk having your ticket confiscated from you if you attempt to use it to gain entry to the festival. When the tickets go on resale, you’ll be able to purchase them from the SeeTickets Glastonbury page.
