Indie band Arctic Monkeys have declared they will not perform at Glastonbury until after they have completed their next album.

Bassist Nick O’Malley told BBC 6 Music, “We wouldn’t want to blow it, We’d rather come back after we’d done an album and do it properly.”

The band are planning to start their fourth album soon, and said they hope to work with Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme again.

The band won best live act at last night’s NME Awards.
