What could be the country’s largest ever meet up of Twitter users is going to take place at this year’s Glastonbury festival.
Twitter the micro blogging/social network site has taken the web by storm in the past 12 months and meetings of fellow ‘tweeps’ are quite common.
Earlier this year saw the first London ‘Twestival’ in which around 500 users of the site crammed together for charity.
The Glastonbury get together known as Twitterbury is expected to be just as big if not bigger. The meet-up organised and arranged by festival fan site glastowatch.co.uk will take place on the Thursday of the festival at 3pm in the Jazz World field.
