Madness frontman Suggs has criticised Bruce Springsteen for not playing enough “hits” during his Saturday night Pyramid Stage headline set at Glastonbury.

He claimed that The Boss disappointed him with his setlist, despite the set lasting nearly three hours.

“I do love Bruce, well I like him,” Suggs told Teletext. “But I do love his hits. And at Glastonbury – no hits for one hour 40 minutes.

“I dragged my nephew to see him and he asked: ‘If he’s The Boss, then who are his secretaries?’ I believe in giving people what they want.”

Springsteen’s performance included renditions of ‘Badlands’, ‘Born To Run’, ‘Thunder Road’ and ‘Dancing In The Dark’.

Madness played the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on the following afternoon.
