According to Jonathan Ross, Matt Bellamy told him that Muse are “probably” going to perform at Glastonbury’s 40th anniversary next year.

When a fan mentioned the rumour about Muse playing Glastonbury to Ross on Twitter, he replied “Didn’t chat to them on the show, but Matt told me they are probably doing it.”

The full exchange is below

Looking forward to seeing @muse on @Wossy tonight – hopefully the Glasto rumours will be put to rest and I’ll be all shiny happy

This adds weight to the Muse rumour started last month when Matt said in an interview “I’d love to play Glastonbury, we’re going to have a little chat to the Eavis family today to see what they have to say”.
