The first act to officially be added to the Glastonbury 2010 line-up is the John E Vistic Experience.
The alternative rock band from Bristol won the final of the Rockstar 09 competition held in front of a crowd of 4,000 at the Pilton Party last night.
The other two acts in the final were Strangefruit and Daybreakers. The three bands had to compete in four heats in July and August against 24 other bands who’d been short-listed by a panel of judges from the Rockstar 09 entries.
They performed alongside headliners Florence and the Machine, and Dizee Rascal.
As well as a Glasto 2010 slot, they also won a recording session at Peter Gabriel’s Realworld Studios.
