Blur’s set at this year’s Glastonbury has been named the best festival headline performance of 2009 at the UK Festival awards.
Lead singer Damon Albarn was also named “male fitty” while Lily Allen took the “female fitty” title at the awards held yesterday at the O2 in London.
Other awards went to Kings of Leon for Anthem of the Year (Sex on Fire) and Florence and the Machine for best breakthrough act.
Glastonbury won the best major festival category, while T in the Park took the crown for best toilets.
