Andy Williams has said he’ll be performing at Glastonbury next year.
The American singer, 81, said Michael Eavis has asked him to perform at the 40th anniversary.
A packed audience at Cheltenham Literature Festival cheered when he told them that he’d been booked.
BBC Radio 4’s Front Row host John Wilson said, “I had asked him if he had any plans to play any more gigs and he said he had been asked to play at the festival.”
Williams has recently been in the UK promoting his autobiography, ‘Moon River And Me’.
