Noel Gallagher has stated that Oasis will not be performing at Glastonbury 2009 and will instead concentrate on their tour.
Speaking at the announcement of the stadium gigs, Noel said the group have no intentions of playin Glasto next summer.
He said he is a fan of the festival but that the band have never performed well there and next year they will not take part.
“Glastonbury is great to be at but it’s not really good for people like me to play at because you don’t go on until 11 at night and all the people you’re with by that time are absolutely battered,” Noel stated.
